Joe Romano witnessed his first magician when he was six years old. This memorable experience took place on the Island of Guam where his family was stationed with the U.S. Navy. The magician was performing at a very popular restaurant which overlooked the entire island. Joe never forgot the beautiful view and he never forgot seeing magic for the first time!

After graduating from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Radio, Television and Film, Joe quickly pursued his dream of becoming a professional illusionist. He performed in major theme parks across the country including Six Flag's Over Texas, Knott's Berry Farm in California, and Walt Disney World in Orlando Fl.. Joe also appeared at the White House and for a crowd of 55,000 people for Halftime of the Washington Redskin - Dallas Cowboy Football Game.

In 1998 Joe Romano produced 'Books: The Magic is Real!', a school assembly program that brings the children's books to life through the art of illusion. This exciting production ignites a passion for reading and to date has been seen by over 500 elementary schools all over the east coast.

Joe Romano is currently performing several shows that range from twenty-minute custom corporate shows to near hour-long industrials and featured performances. His new shows feature such illusions as "Aerial Exchange", "Slicer", "Forklift", "Windshear", and a magical and inspiring rendition of "Snowstorm". Romano was the first magician to perform several of these illusions.

This past year Romano opened at the Showboat Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, N.J., was featured performer at Universal Studios Florida's Halloween Horror Nights IX, and for the third year in a row, was featured performer with CNN's Larry King for the "Larry King Cardiac Foundation" Annual Charity Gala, where he performed with such artists as Ricky Martin, Celine Dion, Michael Bolten, and comedians Sinbad and Paul Rodridguez. Joe was also the featured performer for the Disney Cruise Line's Millennium New Year's Eve at Sea Celebration on board the Disney Wonder.
